 Free Standing "One of a kind" Branch Orangutan sculpture
hand carved in Honduras Mahogany.

 Alder wood used for the base and branches. This sculpture was
inspired by a trip to the San Diego Zoo
where the Orangutan's have great enclosures.

Through a series of sketches at the Zoo,
I was able to impart a real life quality to this sculpture.

This piece measures approximately 34" high by 29" wide by 18"deep.
The base has carved leaves, both the sculpture and base finished in Tung Oil,
giving the entire piece a nice luster.

 Felt under the base prevents scratching of a surface.

All sculptures ship in a custom heavyweight box, wrapped in bubble pack
and stretch wrap, surrounded by Styrofoam loose fill.

 All pieces ship UPS Ground Insured within the U.S. mainland, lower 48 states.
