Free Standing "One of a kind" sculpture of the unique marine Cuttlefish.

The Cuttlefish, a member of the cephalopod family,
is cousin to the Octopus and Squid.
They have ten limbs - eight called arms and two tentacles.

Living in the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea
and around the seas of Africa, most species are found in shallow reefs,
however some are seen at depths of 2000 feet.

A small sea animal, the Cuttlefish measures about 10-20" across the top.

This piece, hand carved in Alder wood utilizes a Tung Oil finish, as does the base.

The Cuttlefish is suspended on a 1" diameter
brass tube hovering over an oval Alder wood base.

Felt on the base prevents scratching of a surface.

An unusual marine creature, this piece now
resides in Illinois as a show piece in their home.

All sculptures ship in a custom heavyweight box, wrapped in bubble pack
and stretch wrap, surrounded by Styrofoam loose fill.

 All pieces ship UPS Ground Insured within the U.S. mainland, lower 48 states.
