Free Standing "One of a kind" Octopus
hand carved in Alder wood, Tung Oil finish.

This Octopus, flanked by green turquoise texturing,
creates a striking decor in a living room or office.

Horizontal in pose, the piece looks as if
it will start to move within the rock.

The artist achieved this ocean bed look by
mixing various stains with a lacquer finish.

This was a challenging sculpture, purchased
by a collector in the San Francisco Bay Area,
now residing in his living room.

The Octopus is a fascinating marine Cephalopod
sought after for viewing in the depths of the
oceans as well as public aquariums.

Even marine aquarists attempt to keep Octopi
in their tanks, but watch out, this
marine creature is a great escape artist.

 Felt on the base prevents scratching of a surface.
